40 years of dedicated customer service

Coolaire formally started in 1969 and engaged as a main supplier of U.S. manufactured air conditioning equipment to projects in the U.S. bases, as well as to government and local building accounts. Company name then was Coolaire Engineering. The company exclusively represented for the Philippine market renowned U.S. manufacturers, and provided for the marketing and selling activities on an indent commission basis.

In the 1980s, the group decided to change the company operating status from a single proprietorship entity to a corporation. Thus, Coolaire Consolidated, Inc. was incorporated; to pave the way for its future growth and expansion plans. In 1989, Coolaire decided to re-involve itself with the construction industry, which was then starting to become more active and to position itself as a major player in time for the expected construction boom.

That same year, Coolaire organized its construction department, and upon careful evaluation of its strengths and capabilities, decided then to focus on the Fire Protection industry. This is in addition to the company's capability to design, supply and install air conditioning equipment, and provide for metal fabrication and erection works. This decision made Coolaire's Fire Protection Division the newest entrant in an industry dominated by three major players at the time. Coolaire then on, had the ability to be a single-source supplier to customers for air conditioning, fire protection and structural fabrication and erection projects, thereby expanding its capability to handle bigger projects.

The 1990s paved the way for the integration of allied and complementary products and services in the fire safety field, as well as in the air conditioning, transport refrigeration and structural fabrication industries.

Coolaire Consolidated, Inc. is to this day among the major suppliers for temperature control equipment, accounting for the bulk of the sales of Thermo King equipment into the Philippines for applications such as food preservation, bus air conditioning, rail air conditioning, container refrigeration, stationary cold storage and freezing. In addition partnering with major brands in the refrigeration industry and bringing together a complete solution to cold chain requirements, Coolaire has also created its own brand of transport refrigeration systems, completing the total need to complete the cold chain in any industry.
